Be the Light- Ivan created this painting as a way of applying what he learned at a Christian conference in Bogotá, Colombia. Being the light means much more than shining with a nice personality. To be the light means to imitate what Jesus himself claimed to be (Jn. 9:5). A call to shine through good works. Acts that belong to a life where God's abundant love reigns. No one turns on a light without a purpose, and Jesus turned on light in us so that we would NOT live a secret discipleship, but one where we would be carriers of God's light. How magnificent it is that anyone who believes in Jesus can be what Jesus himself is: Light in the midst of darkness! As individuals, as study groups, as churches, and nations! ¡To light up our homes, our cities, and this confused and dark world, let’s be the light of the world, let’s be His light!
